The first pumpkins went up for sale today at the farmers markets, nice ones too. I picked one up and will make roasted pumpkin seeds in a week or two. For tonight I am making mulligatawny stew with ginger apples, onions, peppers, and stew beef. Served with a warm chunk of homemade bread and melted butter there is nothing better.

Elfa is no worse today then yesterday. The vet said to put her in isolation and make arrangements at the equine office for him to look at her tomorrow.

I have discovered that all my socks, bras, and some shirts are missing, as well as numerous small trinkets that had been sitting on the computer desk. So like Siegfried approaching the dragons cave, I stuck my arm into Keiran's lair. He has been stockpiling his stolen wares in the farthest corner under my bed where it can't be reached. But yes, there I found a number of items including some articles of clothing I didn't know were missing.
